“Walk in love, as Christ loved us, and gave himself for us, an offering and sacrifice to God.”

Ephesians 5:2

Holy Eucharist, Rite II
Sundays, 9:00 a.m.

Our principle worship is at Sunday morning at 9:00.  Here we gather to hear God’s word to us in Scripture, pray together, and take Communion with one another.  The service can be pretty lively, with singing, our organ, children’s laughter, and spirit-filled hearts.  Father Tim provides a lively sermon.  Children are encouraged to attend the whole service.

Christian Jungian Dialogue Discussion Group

Every other Thursday, 9:00am-10:00am

This is an open small group of seekers who meet biweekly to discuss books
and concepts from the perspective of Jungian psychology and Christian theology and
spiritual practices. It is open to people of all faiths or non faith. The goal is to learn how
the writings of C. G. Jung, and Jungian writers have helped people thoughout the world
find language to help explain rationally their rational and intuitive experiences of God,
however they understand God. For more information contact Fr. Peter Fritsch, vicar at
St. James.

Weekly Bible Reading and Discussion

Thursdays, 11:00am – 12:00pm

Currently, we are studying the mysticism of the Gospel of John, its history, and its portrayal of the transcendent God revealed in the story of Jesus. Recommended reading in addition to the gospel is John A. Sanford’s Mystical Christianity: A Psychological Commentary on the Fourth Gospel. Mystical Christianity: A Psychological Commentary on the Gospel of John by Sanford, John A.: Good (1994) | World of Books

This lively discussion group is helping us discover the metaphorical avenue of understanding scripture through the tradition of the Johannian writings.
