“Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ”
Emmaus Meals | Our Anglican History
Our teaching series (what we call “Emmaus Meals”) will run from June 5th to July 3rd. This time around, our topic will be the history of the Anglican Church, from Joseph of Arimathea to Michael Curry (our presiding bishop). Join us as we learn: what happened to the Celtic Church, why Henry VIII is not the founder of the Anglican Church, and why our priests wear so many clothes during worship services. All are welcome! Dinner begins at 5:00, study at 6:00.
St. James Book Club
Our newly formed St. James Book Club will begin on May 25th at 11:00 in the Parish Hall. We’re starting with C.S. Lewis’ Till We Have Faces. All are welcome, whether you’re a member of the parish or not, or even if you’ve finished the book. Light snacks and coffee will be happily provided!
